Birds, Bait and Bites

No Trip Friday afternoon so I snuck out solo and went for a ride, checking some areas that have been on my mind lately. I caught just a handful of trout and a small flounder at a few different spots. Then on my way back I saw the birds on bait on the northern end of the island. The bluefish were rimracking me pretty bad but I picked out several nicer specks on the pearl and green backed flinchin' minnow by reel fast tackle. That thing looks just like the bait that was balled up and i got the bites under a cork on the drop....Fun
