weird ride

Took a short ride around between blows today and while cutting through a marsh shortcut, we came upon an are that was overrun with Pelicans, gulls and cormorants. Then we noticed some fish floating on top. The birds were chowing down and among the floaters we saw were two different specks with fish stuck in their mouths...weird. The water had cooled off considerably since earlier this week and the tide was boiling in as the SW wind surged back all of the water that the last three days of NE had blown out. Neat to see but puzzling...
