Juli from Down the Sound

I had the great opportunity to carry Juli Davis, Bill Davis and Shane Baum out just yesterday. What a hoot this crowd is. Juli grew up down the sound...Not quite far enough down to be from Downeast, I learned...She and Shane are great friends and spent years entertaining and feeding duck hunters in an awesome old lodge near the mouth of Adam's Creek. You could tell they were all very familiar by the way they carried on...They took turns having the hot hand and ol' Bill had a hell of a time trying to break the habit of snatching the lips off em. (I think in a former life he was a professional bass fisherman who specialized in pulling big bass out of heavy vegetation)At any rate we ran all over the upper range of the sound and wound up on a nice bite where we ended up with three extra keepers on all of their last individual casts. Very Nice! Juli mentioned something about lard and cornmeal in their immediate future... Fun crew and I look forward to seeing them again!
