2014 Dave Huth Memorial Triple Crown

Yesterday a great group of people showed up to celebrate the memory of an old friend we lost several years back. Dave Huth was just an all around good guy and each year since his passing, BBW has hosted an inshore fishing tournament that bears his name and involves the type of fishing that he loved so much. With keeper trout out of the eqation until mid-June, the mighty bluefish took the spot among the three heralded species for the Triple Crown title. We were in the mix, winning the top junior angler category and top overall flounder. The conditions around the inlet made it tough to catch a bluefish, though a few hardliners made it happen. Congrats to Dave Lusk, this years TC champ. As always everyone had a blast, a bunch of kids got to do their thing and the food following the awards ceremony was top notch. Thanks John, Dewey, Nancy, Kathy and the rest of the crew that makes this worthwhile event such a fun time!!
