Windy Day, Good Company

Saturday I had the brothers Burris, Matt and David and their brother in law, Jay Singleton. We spoke the night before and all concluded that it was going to be tough conditions, but decided to go and give it a shot wherever we could find a fishable shoreline. Well we covered a long stretch before we found an area where we felt like we could settle down and work. These guys were experienced anglers and we beat a pretty large area of normally productive grounds to death. We even fished some areas several times, returning in hopes that something had changed. We ended up catching just a handful of fish but had a great time spending the morning together on a pretty windy day. Very good bunch of guys and great hands with a rod and reel. Hope to get another shot at putting them in the meat later on...
